George S. Maraslidis received his bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Democritus University of Thrace, in Power Systems Sector. His diploma thesis was on the topic: "Development of a digital library-repository with the use of Dspace software", in the Software Development Sector. He completed the postgraduate program of "Mechatronics", from the University of Western Macedonia, at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The topic of his master thesis was "A Fuzzy Logic Controller for Double Inverted Pendulum on a Cart". Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the Department of Electrical Engineering, in U.O.W.M., in the research field of "Fuzzy Controllers for Descriptor (Singular) Systems. Application to Robotic Manipulators". He is familiar with FORTRAN, C/C++, and Python and has twenty years of experience in Linux/UNIX systems. He also has experience in Matlab, Multisim, Autocad, and Solidworks and is mainly involved in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automated Control Systems. He has worked at the Lignite Centre of Western Macedonia as an Analyst-Developer and at the Technical Services of the Municipality of Eordaia as an Electrical Engineer, and now he is a member of the Research Personnel of the Institute of Chemical Processes and Energy Resources of CE.R.T.H.
